We like to keep things simple at TriManual…

To monitor your improvements and set some training intensities for running all you need to do is run a 5km!

You can then use your 5km time to set some training paces on our calculator!

We’ve added in a nice warm up, cool down, and some top tips below – GOOD LUCK!

WARM UP

Get those legs moving and heart pumping…

Warm Up

5 minutes easy jogging

Then…

5 minutes building effort from easy to 5km pace

Then…

5 minutes easy jogging

 

MAIN SET

Okay here we go! Take a few minutes rest then GO GO GO!

Don’t set off too fast… remember the best way to pace a 5km is even splits!

 

Main Set

5km – GO GO GO!

 

COOL DOWN

We should probably cool down after that…

 

Cool Down

10 minutes easy jogging

5 minutes easy walk
